Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is one of
Greensboro’s largest attractions. This is the
biggest water park in both of the Carolinas and
is a great escape from the summer heat. Wet ’n
Wild has over 36 rides and attractions with
their motto being “from mild to wild,” there is
something at this park for everyone to enjoy.
The water park is very family friendly even for
the young children with two large children’s areas, Splash Island and Happy Harbor. At these two children’s pools they can enjoy playing on elements such as the Silly Submarine, Ollie the Octopus and several options of water slides.
For the water thrill seekers there are such
rides as Dragon’s Den, Tropical Drop, The Edge
and Daredevil Drop. Dragon’s Den is this North
Carolina water park’s newest attraction that
provides maximum thrills catapulting you through
the dark then plunging out of sight. Tropical
Drop is a short and straight dive that will make
your stomach drop. The Edge is a quick sudden
drop on this half-pipe that plummets you down,
up and back down into the cool pool below. This
ride is definitely designed for thrill seekers who are looking for an adrenaline rush.
 At Emerald Pointe
water park there are several slides ranging from straight down slides to twisting and turning slides that will
fill your summer day with excitement. In addition to these phenomenal rides, there are several wave pools, wading pools and even a lazy river for the swimmers
and non-swimmers to enjoy a day in the sun. If
you are more of a land-lover there are several lounge chairs and shaded areas where you can relax while others enjoy the water activities. You can also enjoy things like the Skycoaster
ride, which gives you a true sense of flying
through the air if want to get your thrills
while staying dry.
Emerald Pointe is the premier water park in
